Plymouth, Michigan - In an effort to realize the inherent synergies of products and technologies core to our parent company (The Furukawa Electric Co. Ltd.), American Furukawa Inc. was established on April 1, 2009. The merger of Furukawa Electric North America, Automotive Products Division, Inc. and Furukawa America Inc. will consolidate North American operations into a stronger, more efficient and more robust business operation that will create additional shareholder value.

 

 

 

The new company American Furukawa Inc. (AFI), located in Plymouth, Michigan will supply advanced technology Automotive, Electronics and Specialty products to several high technology industries.
